Yunita Kibor, the 4th wife of prominent Uasin Gishu farmer Jackson Kibor, has eulogised the late president that is former Moi as being a strict time-keeper and a frontrunner whom spent greatly within the training of Kenyan kids during their 24-year reign.
Talking at her Eldoret house in Uasin Gishu County on Wednesday, February 5, Yunita, 39, stated the loss of Moi has “saddened me personally as a leader” because I loved him.
“We are saddened by Mzee Moi’s death because we loved him. I benefited from Moi’s free milk programme when I was a child. There have been times he’d look at the school that is primary had been studying at, and we also would sing for him. I happened to be among the list of students whom entertained the then-Head of State, ” Yunita told Citizen Television’s mid-day programme, Sema na Citizen.
“Mzee Moi ended up being a strict time-keeper. He would be somewhere at 10am, he would make sure that by 10am, he was at the venue, ” added Yunita when he said.
“I thank Mzee Moi for purchasing children’s training. All of the schools that are good moms and dads are scrambling for today, had been built during Moi’s era. ”
